 Ill health, struggles and doodles Today I've been struggling with a cold on top of my chronic health which has caused some difficult issues.  Like when you cannot push yourself to class (or in my case BACK from class) who is responsible for getting you back. Well everyone passes the buck around and around. And all due to liability. Because what happens if I pass out while they are pushing me back? I understand - that is an issue. But surely, leaving an ill disabled person outside in the cold because they could pass out on the minute walk to another uni building is more dangerous as instead of somewhere safe you've left them out of your sight, surrounded by strangers who have headphones in and are attached to their phones so wouldn't notice a passed out wheelchair user, would be a bigger liability. But you know Out of sight, out of mind. **** After being helped home by my boyfriend - who had to cycle from the opposite side of the city, I bundled myself up against their side...

Happy New Year! Welcome to my new blog with a Happy New Year, may your health be stable and pain be manageable.  Hi there, I am Ms Ditz. First name Disastrous. :P  I am 31, a Creative Writing Student and a Muma of two chaos gremlins. One of which turned 11 on boxing day. Wow - doesn't time just fly. I wrung in the new year with a snotty child pressed into my side - you know the type, "I'm not tired" repeated every few minutes and who falls asleep the moment the fireworks finish. - and another dancing like a wacky waving inflatable tube man. My own flu battling my PoTs (Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome) and my aunt perched beside us, resting from the multitude of board games we had played over the last few days. It got me thinking about resolutions (how long this will last is up in the air).
